Job Summary
Provide supervision for the maintenance staff at assigned properties and perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the property. Oversee repairs and improvements of occupied and vacant homes, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage other maintenance employees.
- Ensure maintenance tickets are completed in a timely manager.
- Lawn care including: mowing, edging, spraying for weeds
- Plumbing knowledge including water and sewer connections/lines
- Knowledge of general maintenance protocol
- Repair and rehab mobile homes
- Painting
- Light electrical
- General park cleanup
- Other duties assigned by the company
- Management reserves the right to revise this position description as necessary.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions/Environment
- Capable of working 8 hours a day, with occasional longer days if needing to address emergencies.
- Capable of climbing, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 or more with assistance
- Capable of operating machinery, such as mower, weedeater, other lawncare machinery, backhoe and similarly sized machines, other equipment needed to repair and refurbish mobile homes.
- Additional physical demands include: being outside/walking across communities in various weather conditions, on foot for an extended period of time, walking up and down stairs, climbing ladder.
