SG is looking for a Level 1 Controls Field Engineer. This candidate will be highly motivated, well organized, and a good decision-maker that works well unsupervised or with a team. The ideal candidate will have GE ControlsST experience with outstanding customer service skills, strong computer literacy, and superb communication skills. Candidates must also be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position.
Requirements
The successful candidate will work closely with customer operations and maintenance managers, I&C engineers, and SGES Field Installation Technicians. Interpret drawings & schematics, access ToolboxST configurations and assist with migrations, rip & replaces, and the subsequent commissioning of new components. Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical and / or 3 years of experience without formal degree, in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation / commissioning.
- Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement.
- Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of turbine generator equipment and site accountabilities is required.
