JOB TITLE : Director of Sales
DEPARTMENT : Sales / Operations REPORTS TO : COO
FLSA STATUS : Full-Time Exempt DIRECT REPORT(S) : TBD / contract & full-time Sales staff
The Director of Sales leads the sales function and is responsible for meeting annual sales objectives across the U.S. and within assigned regions and accounts. Duties include managing the sales team, working with leadership to design strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leading and motivating staff to provide exceptional customer service to external and internal customers
- Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets
- Cultivating client relationships to grow customer loyalty
- Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives
- Producing detailed and accurate sales reports
- Partnering with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
- Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
- Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products
- Establishing a sales training program to train new sales team members
- Working with SG Operations team to assess company performance and identify opportunities
- Other duties as assigned by the COO
