Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in various settings, including medical offices, acute care facilities, and family planning clinics. The LPN will be responsible for monitoring patient health, assisting with diagnostic evaluations, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients' health status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Support family planning initiatives by educating patients on available options.
- Participate in sterile processing to ensure a safe environment for patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Provide basic life support as needed and assist with emergency situations.
- Engage with pediatric patients, utilizing specialized skills in caring for children.
Skills
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong understanding of medical records management.
- Knowledge of family planning practices and procedures.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing.
- Ability to operate neonatal ventilators and provide care for infants when necessary.
- Competence in conducting diagnostic evaluations to support patient assessments.
- Experience working with children is a plus, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with young patients.

Pay: $39.72 - $42.26 per hour
