Title: Warehouse Shipping Assistant
Status: Full-time
Hours: 40/week, Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm Location: Bloomington, IN
Reports to: Warehouse Fulfillment Manager

Position Summary: The core duties of the Warehouse Shipping Assistant ensure that all orders are accurately pulled and packaged in a timely manner. The Shipping Assistant must be able to efficiently pick orders, pack orders, and ship orders a high volume of orders. This is a full-time role with benefits that reports to our Head of Warehouse and Logistics.

Responsibilities:
- Pick orders consisting of 12” vinyl records, 7” vinyl records, CD’s and cassettes by hand using the customer pick slip as reference ensuring the item and quantity match customer requests
- Perform basic quality control after orders have been picked to confirm accuracy
- Pack orders consisting of 12” vinyl records, 7” vinyl records, CD’s and cassettes into SD packaging preparing them for shipping
- May use a pallet jack if/when required for large orders
- Help maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates:
- Previous warehouse, customer service, and/or foodservice industry experience
- Excellent communication and strong organizational skills
- Heightened attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proactive eagerness to help the wider team and an interest in problem-solving
- Effective time manager with the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines
- Interest in a wide range of music genres a plus
