We are seeking a reliable and efficient Medical Courier to transport medical items among labs, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
As a Medical Courier, your responsibilities include collecting, securing, and delivering medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, medication and other healthcare-related items.
Our ideal candidate has a clean driving record, strong knowledge of local routes, and demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail, especially in ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the medical items in transit.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver medical items including lab specimens, medication, medical supplies, and reports
- Maintain and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of sensitive medical items
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of all items received and delivered
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and labs
- Maintain vehicle in clean and functioning condition Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven work experience as a Medical Courier or similar role
- Good knowledge of the local area and efficient routes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer-friendly attitude
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
