SGA Design Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Architectural Entitlement and Specification Specialist . This role bridges the gap between architectural design, entitlement processes, and detailed specification writing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of zoning regulations, permitting, and design standards, as well as the ability to develop precise technical specifications that align with project requirements.
Focus Areas :
- Entitlement Processing :
Research and interpret zoning ordinances, codes, and other regulatory frameworks to guide project feasibility and compliance.
Develop detailed architectural specifications to communicate design intent, materials, and construction standards to stakeholders and contractors.
Prepare and manage documentation required for both entitlement processes and specification development.
Candidate Qualifications :
EDUCATION : Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE : 3 years of experience in architectural entitlement processes, specification writing, or related roles.
SKILLS : Proficiency in architectural drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and specification software. This role requires superior communication skills, a willingness to make calls, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with consultants and building officials.
