Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sourcing Specialist for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients. This role is hybrid in San Jose, CA .
Responsibilities :
- Lead sourcing projects, liaise with internal teams and suppliers, build strong relationships with senior partners, seek value-creating opportunities, oversee contract obligations, demonstrate expertise in marketing trends, develop and coordinate RFx activity, liaise with Legal for risk mitigation, report progress weekly, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the strategic direction of sourcing/procurement initiatives.
Required Skills :
- 5-9 years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement in marketing or indirect services
- deep market knowledge of marketing contracting trends
- familiarity with fiscal planning cycles
- excellent emotional intelligence, growth mentality
- mastery of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis
- high attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ability to synthesize and present complex matters
- willingness to train and educate users
- effective workload management
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar (preference: MBA or JD). Additional certification on supply chain or procurement space is a plus.
