Sr. Cloud Engineer Enterprise Messaging

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Sr. Cloud Engineer— Enterprise Messaging for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in San Fran, CA .

Responsibilities :

• Design, Develop and maintain integration services using IBM MQ.
• Experience with IBM MQ MFT
• Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
• Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
• Custom develops monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses.
• Provides production support including on-call rotation.
• Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
• Clear understanding of and experience with team development best practices to include peer reviews processes and version control systems.
• Build solutions in accordance with Bank security policies that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.
• Judgement to escalate risk-based decisions appropriately. • Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Gitlab pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of software development experience.
• 5 years of recent and related experience as an MQ Architect/Integration Engineer from Design through the Implementation of technical solutions
• 1 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gitlab, Packer, Ansible).
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.
