We are actively seeking a Survey Instrument Person to support large-scale linear energy infrastructure projects across the United States. In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art surveying equipment while traveling to diverse and exciting project locations.
Competitive Compensation $18-22 an hour (depending on experience) plus full per-diem. Work hours are 6 days a week 10 hour days.

Key Responsibilities:
· Operate conventional surveying equipment, including Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors.
· Execute precise field assignments under the direction of project leaders.
· Collect, record, and validate survey data while ensuring accuracy.
· Maintain and organize survey equipment, vehicles, and field supplies.
· Recognize and report discrepancies in field results to supervisors.
What We’re Looking For:
· Associates degree in engineering or surveying (ABET-accredited) OR five years of relevant experience.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to varying work environments.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
· Ability to travel 100% to project sites across the U.S.
· Physical capability to navigate difficult terrain and handle equipment up to 50 lbs.
