About the Role:
As an Entry-Level Survey Instrument Person, you’ll assist our field survey crews by operating surveying equipment and collecting critical data. This is a hands-on role that requires working outdoors, problem-solving, and attention to detail. If you enjoy working with technology and exploring different locations, this is a great opportunity to start your surveying career!
What You’ll Do:
- Learn to operate survey equipment, including Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors.
- Assist with fieldwork on energy infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with experienced surveyors to collect accurate data.
- Help maintain and organize survey equipment and vehicles.
- Travel to different job sites and gain real-world experience.
What You Need:
- A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate rough terrain.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- A degree in surveying, engineering, or a related field is a plus—but not required!
