We’re seeking a Survey Program Manager to oversee all aspects of projects related to a dedicated client or program. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.  Additionally, this role oversees the project management team for all program related projects and participates in BD efforts related to the program.

**Compensation is based on experience. This role must sit local to one of our offices (Hebron, KY/Mooresville, NC/Jacksonville, NC/Westbrook, ME).**

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Meet commitment to results for all areas of responsibilities including, but not limited to, client retention and satisfaction, financial performance and requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and oversee programs aligned with a client’s specific needs, ensuring all deliverables meet the expected quality standards and deadlines.
  • Maintain robust QA/QC processes to ensure precision and accuracy throughout the client or program projects. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with established protocols, standards, and client expectations.
  • Develop and monitor realistic and accurate budget forecasts and assist Project Managers with budget production and meeting financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Functional Leads and Functional Managers to ensure program-specific technical standards are developed and implemented.
  • Coordinate with Functional Leads and Functional Managers to Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the program,
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, both client-specific and those developed by Functional Leads and Functional Managers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Functional Leads and Functional Managers to develop training programs for all current and future staff on process and procedures for all programmatic work.
  •  Work with recruiting and the project management team to staff appropriately for program needs.
  •  Partner with the corporate safety team, Compliance and Asset Manager, and operations teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and practices in the industry.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A wide breadth and depth of knowledge of a particular program or field within the survey industry.
  • Proficiency with surveying software and equipment.
  • Competency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, and financial programs.
  • Proven skills in dealing with medium to high complexity and medium to high-risk key client-facing projects through the strategic management of a particular program.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks, details and deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at multiple management and business unit levels and locations.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for client or company needs.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in survey or a related field plus a minimum of seven years of experience in project and/or program management with at least three years in a leadership role OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated complex project management or program management experience.
  • Professional Land Surveyors license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in P&L management.

 

Additional:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Duties are performed in an office environment.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
