Engagement Type: Temporary (6–12 months assignment)
Overview:
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to support testing and evaluation efforts for radio communication products. The role involves hands-on hardware validation and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and certify digital subcircuit-level designs to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Read and interpret schematics and conduct thorough PCB layout reviews.
- Perform in-circuit measurements using lab bench equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- Work closely with the design team to execute certification test plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during hardware testing.
- Translate technical requirements into actionable design specifications in coordination with engineering teams.
- Provide support for ongoing maintenance activities on existing products.
- Contribute to projects spanning 6 to 12 months with meaningful technical input.
Key Contributions (First 90–120 Days):
- Assist in completing certification of prototype site controller products.
- Evaluate PCB modifications for regulatory compliance.
- Support maintenance and online product activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in testing and evaluating electronic products.
- Proficient in reading schematics and navigating printed circuit board layouts.
- Skilled in the use of test instruments and lab equipment for validation and debugging.
- Strong understanding of digital circuitry and subcircuit components.
- Comfortable performing soldering tasks when necessary.
- Experience working with Python.
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
