What are the responsibilities and job description for the Light Industrial - Warehouse Associate position at SGF Global?
Job Description : Job Description : Short term 3 month assignment Unloading inbound freight. Possibly loading if time available. Very manual labor lifting up to 50 lbs.
This is a manual physicals position but the right fit over time could be trained on an order picker working in heights up to 20 ft. The candidate will not start out on a lift as it will be all manual lifting to start out with.
Must haves :
6 months recent warehouse experience
Millennium Lighting has an influx of incoming inventory that has created the need for extra associates to unload and stage these products. The primary job duty these positions will be responsible for unloading 2-4 shipping containers a day and if needed general warehousing.
Qualifications :
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities :
Unloading & palletizing inbound freight
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Loading outbound freight & organize customer orders
Sort & organize product returns
Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate
Comments for Suppliers : Monday through Friday 7am to 3 : 30pm 1 / 2 hour unpaid lunch.
