Schedule: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 8:00 to 04:00
Position Summary
Supervise the operation of storeroom/warehouse and all facets including receiving, processing, recording and distributing supplies and materials assuring the availability of medical supplies and commodities in quantities sufficient for the highest level of patient care. Oversight/daily supervision of warehouse staff. Generates requisitions for needed products and works with hospital buyers to facilitate orders and resolve shipping discrepancies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4 year college with a degree in Business Administration and 2-3 years of experience in materials handling and or inventory management. Job history and overall experience relative to the job will be considered in lieu of the above preferred qualifications. General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory practices; thorough knowledge of all types of healthcare materials & supplies ability to prepare and maintain accurate records; ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with associates; ability to prepare accurate receiving & distribution reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Regularly required walking, reaching, stretching; standing for long periods of time; climb or balance; stoop kneel, or crouch; talk or hear, and smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50-100 pounds. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation; moderate noise level. Possible exposure to blood and/or body fluids. Possibility of irregular hours including weekends; relatively high stress as a result of distribution needs and ongoing communication.
