Schedule: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
Position Summary
Responsible for the shipping, receiving, and delivery of supplies, materials and equipment. Accurate documentation of receipts within the MMIS and appropriate documentation of outgoing shipments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required walking, reaching, stretching; standing for long periods of time; climb or balance; stoop kneel, or crouch; talk or hear, and smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation; moderate noise level. Possible exposure to blood and/or body fluids. Possibility of irregular hours including weekends; relatively high stress as a result of distribution needs and ongoing communication.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; six (6) month prior experience in storeroom, central supply, sterilization and cart exchange is desired.
- Good overall knowledge of medical/surgical supplies and usage.
- Basic knowledge of computer/automated supply stations.
- Understanding of medical delivery systems and inventory.
