Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks to join and fabricate metal parts, following project specifications and blueprints.
- Operate MIG welding equipment and tools to create strong and durable welds.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to protect yourself and others while working with MIG welding equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and team members to plan and execute welding projects efficiently.
- Measure and mark workpieces using precision instruments, including a tape measure and layout tools, to achieve precise products.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure safety and longevity.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables by completing welding tasks within the specified timeframes.
- Pass welding certification tests to demonstrate the ability to perform highquality
MIG welding.
- Any other action deemed reasonable or significant by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Certification in MIG welding processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
- Knowledge of MIG welding techniques and various types of metals, including aluminum and steel.
- Ability to use a tape measure and other precision measuring tools accurately.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle MIG welding equipment and materials.
- Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines while working with MIG welding equipment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and understand project requirements.
- Problemsolving abilities to troubleshoot welding issues and discrepancies.
- Willingness to work in a fastpaced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
