We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and experience working with patients in a clinical setting. You should also be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and venography.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Develop and maintain patient records, including images and reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
- Minimum one year recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
