Job Details
Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Tester for our Software Development team. In this hands-on software testing role the individual will work on projects related to designing, analyzing, and testing software requirements for highly complex medical devices/instrumentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Development, integration, stability, and system testing
- Smoke testing of new SW and FW builds
- Support scrum team with user story and requirement testing
- Targeted feature testing and defect resolution verification
- Execute unit tests and generate reports
- Troubleshoot software application issues
- Manage defects in multiple defects tracking systems
- Performs laboratory work in accordance with established safety procedures and applicable regulatory regulations
- Train on SOPs for regulatory compliance
Experience & Qualification:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related fields plus 2-5 years of related experience
- Software development test experience is required
- Experience with a defect tracking software
- Experience executing and documenting Unit tests
- Experience in testing medical device within a regulated industry preferred
Additional Details:
- Ability to write and edit technical documents such as software defect reports
- Familiarity with Agile processes and testing
- Familiarity with diagnosing root cause using tools and logs
- Work closely with software engineers to define testing and root cause analysis
- Demonstrates technical proficiency, creativity, collaboration with others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of Universal Precautions and Basic Lab Safety
- Knowledge of engineering principles and concepts
