We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Workday's architecture, modules, and testing methodologies, as well as a proven track record of successful Workday testing and implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Testing: Plan and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing of Workday configurations, encompassing all relevant modules, especially Payroll and Timekeeping.
- Test Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain meticulous test plans, test cases, and test scripts that align with business requirements and Workday best practices.
- Test Execution: Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and E2E testing to identify and mitigate defects early in the development cycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other testers, developers, functional teams, and stakeholders throughout the testing process to gather requirements, clarify business rules, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Workday Expertise: 3 years of hands-on experience in Workday testing, specifically in the payroll SKU, with a strong understanding of Workday's testing methodology, framework, and best practices.
- Testing Methodologies: Proven expertise in various testing methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Test Management Tools: Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA, SmartSheets, or similar platforms to manage test cases, track defects, and generate reports.
- Workday Modules: In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence ManagementAnalytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Certification: Workday Pro Certification or other relevant Workday certifications.
- HR Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in HR systems, HRIS implementations, or HR operations.
