Job Title: Financial Analyst III
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Contract: 12 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst III to manage and oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes. This role will provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and drive efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in financial modeling, and experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Conduct monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and management reports.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support business growth.
- Mentor and develop FP&A team members to promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to management.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to optimize team resources and ensure deadlines are met.
- Respond to complex financial inquiries and oversee credible financial planning and analysis projects.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Level I required, with preference for candidates pursuing full CFA certification.
Experience:
- 5 – 7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or accounting.
- At least 2 years of managerial experience in a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with financial management software, including XCM and Oracle.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to streamline financial processes.
