Job Description
Act as a liaison or contact between clients, laboratory management and department personnel. Also responsible for providing resolution to client service issues and technical support to laboratory personnel and clients.
Job Functions
- Provide quality and timely response to internal and external client inquiries and requests
- Communicate results problems and discrepancies to clients and follow issue through to a satisfactory conclusion
- Track and trend client data as required
- Identify client concerns, complaints, and trends and recommend changes to accommodate client needs
- Set up new client accounts in LIMS and create required documents for sample submission for new clients
- Maintain records of all client communications and requirements
- Notify laboratory of special client requirements and monitor for compliance
- Ensure compliance to ISO 17025 standards are maintained
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology or closely related field; Alternatively, equivalent work experience Required
- 1 years of laboratory experience Required
- Effective problem prevention and problem-solving skills Required
- Written and verbal communication skills necessary to cross multiple disciplines Required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Required
- Proficiency with LIMS and Client Portal systems Required
- Ability to interact with clients, affiliates, and employees effectively while maintaining a professional and pleasant work approach even under stressful conditions Required
- Language Skills: English/Highest level of knowledge Required
- Mathematical Skills: Intermediate
- Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Intermediate level required
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, familiarity with databases and LIMS Required
