Inspector, Solar Modules - Contract

SGS is currently looking for an Inspector, Solar Modules to work a short-term 10-week contract for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Loading monitoring - the modules are currently stores in a warehouse and will be loaded into trucks to be shipped to site.
• It is a fully visual inspection, no testing, based on the provided check list.
• Daily report will need to be completed daily and send out.

• Have previous experience as 3rd party inspector.
• Be prepared to share an example of one of your reports.
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Ability to add photos to your reports.
• Be able to write a detailed report and communicate findings efficiently.
• Have knowledge of shipping documents such as bill of lading, packing lists, airway bills.
• Hourly rate will vary based on experience - $30-35 per hour.
• Estimated start date: Mid-April 2025
• Duration: ~9-10 weeks
• Work schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday
• The inspector will be required to sign an independent contractor agreement/sub-contractor agreement (1099) with SGS North America Inc. (is this 1099 only or do we have other options?)
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
