SGS Maine Pointe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations / Manufacturing Consultant with extensive implementation expertise to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for an individual who has a strong background in operations and manufacturing consulting with the ability to oversee the implementation of operational strategies systems and process improvements within manufacturing environments. You will collaborate closely with clients to optimize their manufacturing operations driving efficiency cost reduction and overall operational excellence. This role will require extensive travelling up to 90 / 100%.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manufacturing Operations Strategy & Consulting :
Provide strategic insights to clients on optimizing manufacturing operations improving production efficiency and reducing costs.
Lead endtoend project implementation for manufacturing systems including new technology deployments (ERP MES automation tools) and process optimization.
Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other operational improvement methodologies to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations including senior leadership operations teams and production staff.
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes tools and technologies.
Use data analytics to evaluate performance metrics and ensure that operational improvements deliver measurable results.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and internal team members on project delivery and client engagement.
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Management Manufacturing or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt PMP) is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations and manufacturing consulting with at least 3 years of experience managing or leading largescale implementation projects.
Expert proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other operational improvement methodologies.
Proactive resultsdriven and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
