Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting clients to designated locations while adhering to all safety, traffic law, and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and customer service. Must own a reliable vehicle and live in the Richmond, VA surrounding area.
Duties
- Operate wheelchair van in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Pick up/Drop off clients to appointments and providing client assistance entering/exiting vehicles as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and owner regarding appointment schedule and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Vehicle must be insured
- Must pass background, drug, and MVR check.
- Ability to operate wheelchair van safely and efficiently including wheelchair securement .
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by the job demands.
- Must be willing to work a 5am-5pm schedule.
