What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Morning Newspaper Delivery Driver position at SGU Papers?
We are looking for reliable and responsible drivers to deliver our newspaper to customers' homes. Our drivers must be willing to learn our delivery routes (managed via phone app) and be available to work during early morning hours. Newspapers get picked up between 3 and 4am, and we deliver them by 7am. It's a good way to get an extra paycheck before you start your day. The hardest part is that it is 7 days a week. This route makes a minimum of $700 per pay period (two weeks) and takes about 2-3 hours in the mornings. You also get tips for a job well done, and a signing bonus of $250 after 30 days worked.
Currently looking to contract someone for delivery to: Washington, Hurricane and LaVerkin. Applicants living in these areas can save time/mileage as routes can be rearranged to end close to home.
Interview/Training sessions will be early morning "ride-along" sessions. Looking for applicants that are available to start ASAP.
Applicants should have a clean driving record, be willing to lift stacks of newspapers and must be available seven days per week. Drivers will be paid per paper and receive mileage and/or fuel bonuses depending on route and fuel prices.
Great job for an extra paycheck before you start your regular day. Don't have to deal with customers. Rock out to music for a couple hours in the morning, or bring along a helper for some good conversation or hang out time. As long as the job gets done on time, you can decide how you do it. And we're here to help make sure it's as easy as possible for you.
