Certification Details BLS ARDMS RDCS Job Details The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic, gynecological & obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms, as well as scanning small parts and performing ultrasound-guided procedures. Job Requirements Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification. Candidate must have 3 years recent General OB / GYN, Abdomen & Vascular Tech experience. Preferred if the candidate also has Echo tech experience; the facility is also willing to train. Schedule Information Weekend shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Nights, 6p-6a. Unit Specific Information Will position be required to float to other units? Years of experience required? Who else in your organization will be involved in the interview or selection process? Additional Details Must have BLS certification must be attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association); RQI certifications will not be accepted.
