As we continue our impressive growth trend, we are seeking a full-time Quilter to join the team at our office in Post Falls.
About the Role
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Our online-based store is looking for a talented, creative and very skilled person to help with sewing and quilting sample projects. These projects are what we use to create kits, patterns to sell in our store and we even use these projects in YouTube videos. We are growing so fast and need someone to help us with completing these sample projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Be completely familiar with a rotary cutter, sewing machine and sewing notions
- Hand and machine embroidery and/or appliqué experience is preferred
- Sewing quilts, wall hangings, table runners, pillows, and other sewing/ quilting projects with precision and speed
Qualifications
- Attention to detail is a MUST
- Must have extensive knowledge and skills in creating quilts and other sewing projects.
- Must have great computer skills to use digital programs to design potential projects
- Must be VERY CREATIVE
- You have a proven record of being a hard worker with a great attitude
- You would rather ask than guess
- Multi-tasking, excellent communication, and stamina are part of your profile
- You have basic math skills and AMAZING attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have your own transportation
- Must not smoke - Fabric is porous and absorbs these odors
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
