What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender (Kapolei) position at Shabuya Shabu Shabu (Kapolei)?
Here we grow again! Shabuya Shabu Shabu, voted one of the best of the best Shabu experiences in the 808 is coming soon to the WEST SIDE! Now accepting applications for bartenders at our upcoming Kapolei location.
Bartenders utilize their creativity to create specialty cocktails for guests to enjoy. Bartenders will also cater to guests seated at the bar.
Base rates for bartenders run between $15.00 - $16.00 per hour and are a part of the of the tip pool. Bartenders can expect to earn anywhere from $2 to $4 more per hour in tips*. Combined, that's an average of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, combined depending on the day and shift you work!
Qualifications
- Shows up on time as scheduled or proactively communicates when can't work.
- Open work availability (preferred)
- Has great communication.
- Knows how to utilize the POS System (Toast)
- Able to drop off the right food at the right tables.
- Able to obtain a TB test result (state of Hawaii requirement)
- Honolulu Alcohol Commission Card
- Food handlers card
- 18 Years or older (required)
Bartenders are responsible for:
Welcoming guests, listening to guest concerns, accurately inputting food, soup, and drink orders. Bartenders are required to check ID before serving alcohol.
2 years of restaurant serving/bartender experience is required. High volume environments preferred. Minimum 18 years of age is required. Good communication, a high sense of urgency and positive attitude is a must.
*Hourly tip amounts are an estimate as the restaurant is not actually open yet.
