What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser (Kapolei) position at Shabuya Shabu Shabu (Kapolei)?
Here we grow again! Shabuya Shabu Shabu, voted one of the best of the best Shabu experiences in the 808 is coming soon to the WEST SIDE! Now accepting applications for bussers at our upcoming Kapolei location.
Bussers are the key to a smoothly running operation. Bussers will help pre-bus active guest tables and are able to quickly reset tables that are finished.
Base rates for bussers run between $14.00 - $15.00 per hour and are a part of the of the tip pool. Bussers can expect to earn anywhere from $2 to $4 more per hour in tips*. Combined, that's an average of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, combined depending on the day and shift you work!
Qualifications
- Shows up on time as scheduled or proactively communicates when can't work.
- Open work availability (preferred)
- Pre-busses active guest tables
- Flips or resets tables that are finished.
- Knows the restaurant table layouts.
- Able to obtain a TB test result (state of Hawaii requirement)
- Food handlers card
- 18 Years old preferred.
Bussers are responsible for:
Collecting dirty dishes as guests are done with them. Quickly resetting tables after guests have left the restaurant.
1 year of restaurant experience is required. Minimum 18 years of age or about to (or have) graduated high school, is required. Good communication, a high sense of urgency and positive attitude is a must.
*Hourly tip amounts are an estimate as the restaurant is not actually open yet.
