What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Slicer (Kapolei) position at Shabuya Shabu Shabu (Kapolei)?
Here we grow again! Shabuya Shabu Shabu, voted one of the best of the best Shabu experiences in the 808 is coming soon to the WEST SIDE! Now accepting applications for meat slicers at our upcoming Kapolei location.
Meat slicers enjoy a stable work environment and work off of anticipated business volumes (pars). Meat slicers will utilize a variety of tools including kitchen knives, vegetable processing machines, soup tools, and other kitchen equipment to make the process easier.
Base rates for a meat slicer is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Meat slicers are a part of the tip pool and can expect to earn anywhere from $3 to $6 more per hour in tips*. Combined, that's an average of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, combined depending on the day and shift you work!
Qualifications
- Shows up on time as scheduled or proactively communicates when can't work.
- Open work availability (preferred)
- Has great communication.
- Utilizes automatic and manual meat slicers to create dishes of meat for guests to enjoy in their soups.
- Willing to do any kitchen work necessary to keep the business running.
- 18 Years or older (required)
Meat slicers are responsible for:
Utilizing automatic or manual meat slicers to create plates of meat for guests to enjoy.
High volume environments preferred. Minimum 18 years of age is required. Good communication, a high sense of urgency and positive attitude is a must.
*Hourly tip amounts are an estimate as the restaurant is not actually open yet.
