What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Coordinator position at Shaddock Homes?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Compile building plans and plot plans.
· Order required documents from multiple trade, inspection and government entities.
· Follow-up with each entity to receive required documents and prevent document receipt dates that slow construction start. Review key items on the documents to verify their accuracy and completeness.
· Maintain tracking reports to communicate status of on time ordering and receipt of job start documents and permit submittals and receipts
· Prepare and submit permit applications with associated documentation in accordance with municipality requirements.
· Schedule couriers to pick-up and deliver permit packages and payments to municipalities and to construction staff.
· Coordinate the request for permit, meter, water and impact fee payments upon notice of permit approval.
· Maintain current general contractor registration with municipalities in which Shaddock Homes builds.
