Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations involving water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration services. You will work closely with clients to ensure their properties are restored to pre-loss conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct fire restoration tasks, including cleaning and deodorizing affected areas.
- Execute mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from properties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete restoration tasks.
- Assist in asbestos abatement procedures when necessary.
- Provide carpet cleaning services as part of the overall restoration process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Communicate with clients regarding the progress of restoration projects and address any concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of fire restoration processes and safety measures is beneficial.
- Experience with mold remediation practices is desirable.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
