Clinical Director – The Ohana
The Clinical Director at The Ohana plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and support to individuals recovering from substance use disorders and other mental health conditions. This leadership position is responsible for managing a maximum caseload of eight clients, overseeing their care from admission to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychotherapy.
- Conduct group therapy sessions and individual therapy to explore underlying factors contributing to each client’s diagnosis.
- Maintain strong therapeutic boundaries while providing empathetic and encouraging support to clients.
- Oversee all aspects of clinical programming and facility operations, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, contract obligations, and performance standards.
- Supervise and train clinical staff, fostering a structured and organized environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client records and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to improve program quality and client outcomes.
- Respond to client crises as needed, demonstrating flexibility and leadership.
- Maintain open communication with staff to ensure continuity of care.
