Program Manager – The Good Seed CDC

Location : Los Angeles, California (Baldwin Hills)

Job Type : Full-Time

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000 Annually

At The Good Seed, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to build a brighter future. As

a Program Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding and supporting young adults, helping them

develop life skills, achieve their personal and professional goals, and connect with vital resources.

What You’ll Do :

Individual Support & Planning :

Assess each young adult’s strengths, needs, and goals to create customized service plans.
Help clients build pathways to employment, education, and personal development.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure success.

Employment & Education Support :

Provide career guidance, resume writing, and job search strategies.

Connect clients with job training programs, internships, and educational opportunities.

Build relationships with local employers and schools to create career pathways.

Health & Well-being :

Support clients in accessing mental health resources, wellness programs, and healthcare services.

Educate on healthy habits like nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

Life Skills Development :

Lead workshops on financial literacy, time management, and communication.

Help clients build social networks and engage in their communities.

Advocacy & Resource Coordination :

Act as a liaison between clients and service providers.

Ensure clients have access to necessary resources and support.

Maintain up-to-date records while ensuring confidentiality.

What You Bring :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s

preferred).

Experience : At least 2-3 years of experience in program management or working with young adults.

Skills :

Strong understanding of the challenges young adults face.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to plan, assess, and set goals effectively.

Knowledge of local community resources and support services.

Attributes : Compassionate, patient, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
