Job Summary
Assist in receiving-related processes and help receiving team members accomplish tasks that will optimize flow and ensure efficiency and accuracy
Job Requirements/Expectations:
- Be an example to all team members
- Direct team members as needed to maintain efficient flow
- Train new hires, provide supplemental training to seasoned team members, and actively report on progress as directed by manager
- Promptly communicate all potential service failures to receiving manager or shift supervisor
- Anticipate and communicate all employee grievances to receiving manager or shift supervisor
- Work with management to implement solutions and improvements to ensure quality, safety, and operating efficiency
- Direct team in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Process daily inventory updates
- Provide daily department status reports
- Assist in frontline job functions as needed to maintain efficient workflow
- Clock a minimum of 40 hours per week and work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of warehouse experience
- 2 years in lead or manager position
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective leadership skills and robust work ethic
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and remain focused in a fast paced, growing work environment
- Ability to assertively and professionally present company needs to management
- Previous leadership experience is a plus
