Reports To : Receiving Manager / Receiving Team Lead

Job Summary :
Receiving Associates are responsible for the inspection of all incoming product within the department, performing any and all required quality control checks, data entry, and filing of any vendor claims for defective or damaged product. Receivers must have a good understanding of basic computer systems, especially Microsoft Excel, in order to log item information. They will also be responsible for any additional tasks that management may require such as transferring inventory, stacking pallets, and any general cleaning tasks.
Job Requirements :
- Transport incoming materials to designated areas using appropriate tools / vehicles including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and / or elevator.
- Perform quality inspection tasks on all received materials and products such as :
Reviewing PO and Item Numbers to ensure accuracy
