Cashier

Shadick’s is looking for a friendly, reliable, energetic, 18 years old, Store Associate - Cashier to add to our team.

Ideal shifts would be 5am - 1pm, 9am - 5pm or 1pm - 9pm working 16-24 hours per week. We are very flexible at scheduling.

To be a part of our team you must have:

· Great communication skills, teamwork and excel at customer service

· Adhere to scheduled workweek, reliable and prompt when reporting to work

· Provide excellent customer service; work with customers in a courteous and professional manner

· Effectively interact with Manager and fellow employees

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Operate cash register and scanner to itemize customer purchases

· Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, EBT, WIC, gift certificates in accordance with company policy

· Responsible for front-end duties such as merchandising check-stand (newspapers, candy, etc)

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned

· Comply with company policies regarding cash handling/cash drawer accounting procedures, the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, etc.

· Requires long periods of time standing, bending, twisting, and reaching

* Food prep for our hot, to-go food
