Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our Pediatric Dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes, ensuring that patients and families receive the highest level of service and support throughout their treatment journey. This position requires a strong understanding of dental coding and insurance management, patient service, and good understanding of team support
Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure timely communication between patients and dentist
- Manage dental billing processes while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft and to document patient information accurately.
- Assist in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and following up on treatment progress.
- Maintain organized health information management records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
- Collaborate with dental office staff to streamline operations and enhance the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office setting with familiarity in dental terminology and coding
- Knowledge of dental billing processes and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Proficiency in using health information management systems, preferably Eaglesoft
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent patient service. Bilingual skills are highly recommended
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
