Job Description
The Coffee Shop Coordinator is to assist in the organizational and operational functions of the Hebrews Coffee Shop Ministry. The coordinator will make himself/herself available for any other projects deemed appropriate and offer his/her time, skills, and gifts as they apply toward the ongoing welfare and edification of the Body of Christ at Shadow Hills Church.
General Responsibilities
The Coffee Shop Coordinator works anytime there is a church wide event happening on campus. This will include, but not limit to, all weekend services, Wednesday evenings, various weekday mornings, and during any other special event. Hours may vary based on events. The Coffee Shop Coordinator reports directly to the Office Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Maintains and organizes the volunteer schedule for the month. Sends out reminders during the week to the volunteers on the schedule.
· Keeps records of and contacts potential new volunteers through the Service Cards provided by the Connections Ministry.
· Maintains relationships with beverage suppliers including, but not limited to Coca-Cola and Quick Dispense. Stays up to date with contract information, new products, and equipment servicing needs. Keeps track of inventory and orders from the aforementioned when necessary.
· Is present during the open hours of HeBrews, or has a skilled volunteer replacement. Arrives half an hour early to set up for the shift and stays late as necessary to ensure that the closing procedures have been followed.
· Stays up to date with new beverage and snack trends. Including, but not limited to new recipes, new flavors, and new products.
· Maintains equipment following proper care procedures.
· Aids in the planning, coordination, and set-up of special events.
· Maintains Hebrews web presence through regular updates to Social Media.
· Prompt in answering questions.
· In addition to the above, they will perform tasks as related to the growth/expansion of Hebrews as the ministry evolves over time.
· Accurately maintains Hebrews inventory including, but not limited to, keeping the inventory up to date in the POS system, purchasing new inventory, and reporting on inventory losses.
· Provides the Finance Team with monthly accounting reports and other, related accounting tasks.
· Balances the cash drawer at the end of each day, making a weekly safe deposit of funds.
· Reconciles account payments on a monthly basis.

· Refrain from any social or private behavior considered or interpreted as unbecoming of a devoted follower of Christ. This includes personal social media presence.
Professional
· Minimum of two (2) years of work or volunteer experience in a coffee shop setting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to learn and run POS financial system.
· Passion for Serving the Church.
