Shadow Ridge Country Club is seeking a part-time, seasonal, Pro Shop Merchandising Assistant. This position will play a crucial role in presentation, organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale operations of the Pro Shop. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to showcase products and provide excellent customer service while supporting day-to-day Pro Shop point of sale operations.

The Position: The Pro Shop Merchandising Assistant will facilitate a top-tier shopping experience for our Members by assisting in purchasing inventory, organizing and maintaining cleanliness of the Pro shop, processing transactions through the point-of-sale system and greeting and checking in Members for tee times. Hourly pay, starting at $17.50/hour, is commensurate to experience. Scheduling is flexible, with up to 30 hours per week offered from April 1 through December 1.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a visually appealing and organized shop, ensuring products are properly displayed and rotated.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and tracking stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team to create promotions, sales displays, and seasonal collections.
- Assist with daily operations, including processing transactions, handling returns, and managing sales floor activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail and/or country club operations, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day, as needed.
- Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor with Members and coworkers alike.
- Ability to operate computerized POS system.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to fulfill the seasonal role from April 1 through December 1.
