Club Overview
Shadow Wood Country Club, located between Naples and Ft. Myers Florida, was originally developed by the Bonita Bay Group in 1998, before becoming Member Owned in 2010. Blessed to exist in the highly desirable SW Florida region, Shadow Wood CC is a 54-hole private, member-owned facility with 900 Golfing Memberships. The Club currently enjoys a full membership and a waitlist to become a future member. The Club’s reputation for providing an extraordinary level of Member Service is maintained by its dedicated staff. In addition to three golf courses, the Club has four different dining venues as well as Ladies and Men’s Lounges. The Club has an active social calendar and hosts multiple member events weekly.
The Shadow Wood CC Food & Beverage Operation is one of the largest in SW Florida.
Shadow Wood Country Club’s does over $6 million in annual F&B revenue with a large portion of that coming from Ala Carte dining. The F&B department is a high-volume operation which routinely hosts multiple banquets on a given day.
Job Responsibilities
Men’s Lounge Bartender— Full-Time year around position
Responsible for ensuring Men’s Lounge Bar, buffet, and tables are set up daily. Makes and serves drinks, and ensures bar and tables are cleaned.
Follows Shadow Wood Standards to assure that the wants and needs of club members and guests are consistently exceeded.
- Coordinate timely service delivery of food and beverage in the Men’s Lounge in a consistent manner.
- Conduct pre-staff lineup briefing before each service event in the Men’s Lounge.
- Complete opening and closing of the Men’s Lounge and ensure that all related paperwork is completed. Prepare the Men’s Lounge Club for the next day’s service.
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons by taking orders from customers of servers, mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks, serving wine and draft or bottled beer, ordering or requisitioning liquors and supplies, arranging bottles and glasses to make attractive display, preparing fruit and other garnishes, preparing and replacing bar snacks.
- Comes out from behind bar to server and take orders to serve beverages, clear and buss tables when bar is not busy.
- Enter food orders into the Point-of-Sale System to serve members at bar and assist on floor.
- Position requires to work nights, weekends, double shifts, and holidays during the season.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures Buffets are designed, setup, and upkept properly.
- Bartends/Serves in the Men’s Only Lounge.
- Greets Members/guests and oversees actual service on a routine basis.
- Handles selected member and guest complaints and advises the Club Manager about appropriate corrective actions taken.
- Maintain high visibility with the membership.

Education and Qualifications Requirements
◦ 2-3 Years of Bartending experience in a Private Club Setting
