Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Manager/Head Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly and able to work in a fast paced environment handling both proshop and bar patrons. Previous bartending knowledge and skills preferred. Must have open availability between the months of April-October. Must have or be able to obtain Bassett and Food Manager licenses by April 1st.
Duties
- Works under close supervision of Clubhouse Manager.
- Assists in hiring and training new staff members.
- Helps ensure employees maintain cleanliness of the bar area and proshop following established procedures.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed.
- Ensures proper stock of all food related items including non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations as well as responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Prepares dining room and bar as needed for special events and golf outings.
- Performs other various duties as assigned by Clubhouse Manager or Board of Directors.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of experience in bartending and related roles within the hospitality or golf industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Experience in cash handling and knowledge of POS systems is essential.
- Ability and experience working effectively in a fast paced atmosphere preferred.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
