Job Summary
SHADY REST CARE CENTER is seeking a dedicated, energetic and experienced Nursing Home Administrator with knowledge of regulations and the survey process to oversee the daily operations of our facility. This is a 60 bed Nursing Home and Skilled Nursing facility in Pryor, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of successful survey outcomes, strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a passion for providing high-quality care to seniors. As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Manage financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality care practices.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to oversee medication administration and resident health assessments.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with social work professionals to address residents’ emotional and social needs.
- Lead training programs for staff on best practices in senior care, memory care, and assisted living.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of senior care principles, including memory care and home care services.
- Background in nursing or social work is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing assisted living facilities.
