Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring all supplies are stocked and available.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to health regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Respond to cleaning requests promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
