POSITION OVERVIEW
The Client Care Representative (CCR) is the client’s first contact when calling or visiting the practice and as such represents the professional image of the practice to callers and visitors. Our client care representatives are responsible for receiving and relaying all client correspondence (phone, fax, email, app, online pharmacy), triaging urgent situations in a calm manner, educating clients on basics of pet care, excel in multi-tasking, and has the ability to diffuse negative client situations and foster client bonding.
POSTION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Customer Service background desirable but not required
- Typing skills required
- Computer knowledge required; comfortable with Word, keyboarding, and use of communication tools such as email and social media
- Fear Free Professional Certification is preferred; if not already certified, willingness to abide by Fear Free principles and take training/certification course
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience is preferred but not required

- Be flexible with work schedule, including having availability to work on weekends

Physical Effort: Work requires lifting and carrying records, equipment, and food weighing up to 50 pounds; requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, squat, stand up for up to 4 hours at a time
Working Conditions: May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises and animal feces. May be exposed to bites, scratches and contagious diseases
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
