For 95 years, Shaffer Distributing has led the way as a premier distributor in the family entertainment, arcade, and vending equipment industry. As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a dynamic New Business Development Executive to our team. In this role, you'll drive the entire sales cycle within our Business Development Division, from identifying and nurturing opportunities to presenting and closing deals.

This is a collaborative position, and you will work alongside a team of professionals to ensure a seamless transition for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the full sales cycle - From building a strong pipeline to closing deals.

Meet with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

Close the deal and ensure successful onboarding.

Prospect and build relationships with new potential clients, while also nurturing existing accounts.

Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure smooth communication and exceptional service.

Help grow our brand and expand our market presence.

Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay ahead of trends and expand your network.

About You:

We’re looking for a proactive, goal-oriented individual with:

• 4-6 years of experience in business development, account management, or outside sales-preferably in a product or distributor environment.

• A proven ability to prospect, engage, and close sales.

• Strong face-to-face sales experience with a track record of meeting sales targets.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite & CRMs.

• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage with large groups.

• A strong sense of accountability and drive to deliver results.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the US to meet with customers and attend industry events.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• Knowledge of the Family Entertainment and/or Vending industry is a plus.
