Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop project schedules and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid for tracking project progress and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and labor crews, providing direction and support as needed.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards on the construction site.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates based on schematics and project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project updates, challenges, and changes.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software, particularly HeavyBid.
- Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage costs effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Expertise in project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of tasks.
