Lead mold maker (Rubber, silicone, or polyurethane)

We are seeking a skilled Moldmaker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in mold fabrication. We are looking for someone with experience working with rubber, silicone, or polyurethane. As a Moldmaker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing molds used in the manufacturing process, ensuring they meet precise specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to fabricate molds.
• Employ micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure molds meet exact specifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot mold-related issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance on molds to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Moldmaker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with materials such as rubber, silicone, or polyurethane.
• Fine Arts background
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
