3rd Grade Teacher (April 2025 - the end of the school year)

Duties (include but are not limited to): •Demonstrate knowledge of subject(s) through instructional practices •Guide the learning process toward the achievement of Common Core State Standards •Integrated technology use in classroom instruction •Collaborative model of instruction with interventionist, special educators and special area teachers •Instructor of Multi-Tiered System of Supports –Response to Instruction and Intervention •Document, chart and use assessment information to define instructional groupings which is corrective and informative •Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment through the knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions. •Shared electronic lesson planning •Direct and supervise the work of paraprofessionals, volunteers and student teachers assigned to the classroom •Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all students •Implement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies) •Adhere to all District policies and regulations
